World's Largest LED Cinema

This 4K HeyLED digital cinema screen is DCl-certified and offers a new generation of Premier Large Format (PLF) experience. The high-profile attendees, including the press reporters, theater owners, integrators, and leading exhibitors such as Wanda, Bona, Omnijoi Media, and Poly Culture, endorsed that the potential of HeyLED's technology will transform the cinema industry.

The product introduction was conducted with PowerPoint presentation at an impressive brightness of 150 nit on the HeyLED screen while the house lights remained on. It highlighted HeyLED's commercial value for multi-scenario applications such as conferences, academic lectures, and live performances with bright, natural atmospheres that enhance the overall visual experience.

The event started with a creative and humorous opening film which is a virtual reality stage for product launch, demonstrating the new application's visual capabilities and symbolizing the brand's journey to exploration. Unlike the 10m HeyLED Tech Tour in Los Angeles, the Wuhan event showcased images that appeared within reach due to the extensive size and deep spatial impression of the screen, providing an immersive PLF experience with larger-than-life visuals and pulse-pounding sound.

As the investor of the location, Mr. Ruan Yong-zhao, VP of Hubei Changjiang Film Group Co., Ltd., praised the new generation of LED technology, stating that the must-see attraction had become the highest box office grossing in Wuhan within a month of opening while underlining the breath-taking clarity and overwhelming sense of awe and wonder.

Andrew Chen, CEO of Timewaying, highlighted that HeyLED is solution to the three main pain points currently affecting the cinema industry: limited content diversity, lack of immersion in cinematic experience, and a lack of social connection. Andrew also noted that Al's creative ability and iterative updates in restoration technology, could provide new opportunities for the industry, with Timewaying at the forefront of technological upgrades to provide added-value to cinemas.

The HeyLED next-generation PLF addresses some of the issues with the traditional "projection and reflection" screening method by delivering high contrast, high brightness, immersive size and high dynamic range (HDR). It also eliminates the need for a projection room, creating new opportunity for building extra VIP private boxes to drive income. To support cinema technology adoption, Timewaying has launched an exclusive HeyLED financing plan for Chinese clients.

Afterward, Kenny Chow, Chief Technology Officer of Timewaying, introduced the product's technical features, advantages and application effects compared to ordinary projection with a video demonstration. He highlight the features like impressive dimensions, strong spatial feeling enhanced by 3D imaging, facilitating naked-eye 3D viewing which may increase advertising revenue. Celebrated as a must-have for future cinema transformation, LED hardware provides the foundation for HDR movie formats and will help to develop the entertainment offerings within the cinematic environment.

This PLF auditorium is equipped with an EMX immersion WSAI surround audio system. This is specially designed for the HeyLED to deliver a superior sound quality. Xiang Jue, the VP of EMX, stated that the WSAI sound system has made substantial breakthroughs in solving the problem of sound-image perception caused by non-perforated screens. Meanwhile, the 13cm ultra-narrow width of the powerful speaker arrays fit right into the rims of the HeyLED screen to enable wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-ground fitting of the LED screen to the auditorium.
