Press Release
London, UK (27 May, 2025) – Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and support services, and Motion Picture MovieWorks (MPM), a leading UK-based cinema technology integrator and official technical coordinator of CineEurope, has announced that AAM’s Screenwriter Theatre Management System (TMS) will manage content and scheduling at CineEurope for an eighth consecutive year.
Hosted annually in Barcelona, CineEurope is the premier convention and trade show for cinema exhibitors, distributors, and industry professionals across the EMEA region. Organised by the Film Expos Group, the event showcases upcoming film releases, new technologies, and offers a platform for networking and industry insight.
Screenwriter, AAM’s flagship TMS, will once again play a key role in the event’s operations, continuing its support since 2017. Demonstrating its robust event management capabilities, Screenwriter will provide centralised content management and real-time visibility across all connected screens. While MPM will be on-site to operate Screenwriter and deliver localised technical support to ensure another seamless CineEurope experience.
“Screenwriter’s powerful content management capabilities not only supports our mission to deliver high-quality experiences for both organisers and attendees, but significantly reduces the time and effort required behind the scenes,” explained Stephen Field, Senior Engineer at Motion Picture Movieworks.
Responsible for scheduling features, trailers, and custom studio clips, as well as monitoring screens and controlling playback, AAM’s Screenwriter remains the world’s leading and most widely deployed TMS. Trusted for its reliability and performance, Screenwriter has supported a wide range of events, from pop-up outdoor screenings and prestigious film festivals to major industry trade shows, including the Film Expos Group’s CineAsia.
David Ong, Chief Commercial Officer at Arts Alliance Media, commented, “As proud partners of MPM and long-standing contributors to CineEurope, we are confident that the continued use of Screenwriter will help to deliver another outstanding edition.”
