Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the world’s largest public film festival, has extended their software partnership with Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and support, to enable Screenwriter and Lifeguard to manage all content, screenings and hardware for a third consecutive year.
Celebrating its 49th edition, TIFF showcases over 250 films in just eleven days, offering a global audience the opportunity to experience the best of international and Canadian cinema through screenings, lectures, workshops, and filmmaker meet-and-greets.
Selecting AAM’s Screenwriter Theatre Management System (TMS), TIFF will maintain comprehensive control over all screens and content from one location, while Lifeguard, AAM’s cloud-based Hardware Management System, will monitor all network-wide devices to ensure smooth and error-free operations.
Lifeguard offers exhibitors and festival organisers a comprehensive NOC solution, enabling early issue detection through hardware performance monitoring, enhanced visibility with detailed device tracking, and valuable insights from over 30 operational reports.
Meanwhile, Screenwriter, used for scheduling features, trailers, and advertisements, as well as monitoring and controlling playback across more than 45,000 screens globally, centralises daily operations allowing site-level staff to focus on audience engagement.
Peter Kim, Global Sales Director at Arts Alliance Media, added, “We’re proud to be selected as TIFF’s trusted software provider for a third consecutive year, supporting their Operations team in delivering seamless cinematic viewing.”
