Stucker will be based in Los Angeles and will focus on offering AAM’s digital cinema software solutions to exhibitors across the US and Canada. He reports to AAM’s Commercial Director Eric Stevens.
Stucker comes to AAM from roles at Sony Digital Cinema and Barco Digital Cinema. At the former he was responsible for the launch of Sony’s 4K digital cinema projection systems and sales to several leading US exhibitors, as well as being Sony’s representative to the DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative – the body set up to define standards for digital cinema), and at Barco Digital Cinema he managed multi-million dollar digital conversion programs and built relations with industry individuals and groups.
Arts Alliance Media has a full suite of digital cinema software products designed to unlock the real benefits of digital for exhibitors. At a site level, Screenwriter, the Theatre Management System (TMS), manages the running of a cinema by reducing time-consuming and inaccurate workflows and providing comprehensive monitoring and content management. For cinema chains, the enterprise TMS, Producer, controls an entire circuit, centralising and automating processes and managing content across all sites from one head office location. Locksmith software manages collection and distribution of digital cinema keys (KDMs) from distributors directly to screen servers, with automatic ingest and complete visibility of delivery status.
For cinema chains who want to manage their own Network Operations Centres (NOCs), Lifeguard provides tools specifically designed for digital cinema, with centralised equipment monitoring and issue resolution, proactively alerting cinemas to any potential problems and managing service requests. Finally, AdFuser provides all the functionality to manage cinema advertising, making it easy to target campaigns more precisely than ever before, secure the best pricing and automate playlists. Together the software suite provides a completely integrated end-to-end system which allows exhibitors to really see the benefits of digital cinema: increased efficiency, fewer missed shows as a result of human error, and vastly improved flexibility, not to mention comprehensive reporting on all aspects of an operation.
Commenting on his new role, Andrew Stucker said “Having worked in digital cinema for many years, I had been impressed with AAM’s expertise and success in working with exhibitors around the world, and so am delighted to be joining them as they extend their software reach into North America. AAM’s software suite is superb quality and really powerful, but behind a simple easy to use interface which really helps exhibitors realise the benefits of digital cinema. I’m looking forward to getting out there and showing it to people. “
Eric Stevens, Commercial Director at AAM, added “I’m excited to bring Andrew on board. Cinema software is entering the next phase with enterprise circuit management, NOC tools, centralised KDM and trailer management, and holistic advertising management. AAM has solutions for all of these areas and more and looks forward to rolling them out across North America with Andrew’s help.”
Arts Alliance Media will be at Booth 2809A at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, from March 24th – 27th.
