Christie, which recently announced the launch of its own VPF program in North America backed by all six Hollywood studios, will use Arts Alliance Media’s Back Office VPF tools to manage the rollout, and AAM’s TMS software, rebranded and customized for licensing to customers worldwide.
An essential component of a VPF-funded digital cinema rollout, the Back Office software package provides Christie with a turn-key solution to handle all the requirements of a VPF program. The software allows tracking of all digital cinema assets, and calculation of VPFs, as well as providing tools for invoicing, collection, and reporting.
During this year’s ShowEast conference, Christie is introducing its new Christie Avias-TMS™, which is built on AAM’s state of the art Theater Management System.
Don Shaw, Director, Product Management, Christie Entertainment Solutions, said “Rather than reinventing the wheel, we went into the marketplace and licensed the best technology we could find. We know our customers need a field-proven, reliable solution that works seamlessly with all of the server and projection equipment already installed in their theaters.”
Howard Kiedaisch, Chief Executive Officer, Arts Alliance Media, added “We’re thrilled to have our software solutions chosen by Christie, some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry. We’re truly looking forward to working with Christie over the coming years to provide their customers with the best solutions for their needs. “
David Knight, Arts Alliance Media’s Director of Business Development & Strategy, said “By using our TMS and Back Office VPF software, Christie and their customers can enjoy all the benefits of the years we have invested in building the best in class product.”
Arts Alliance Media is showcasing all its software products, including the latest version of the TMS – Screen Play – and Back Office VPF management software, at Booth #914 at ShowEast 2011.
