Arts Alliance Media (AAM), Europe’s leading digital cinema company, has announced it is expanding the scope of its Theatre Management System (TMS) to integrate with Sony, GDC and Qube screen servers.  AAM’s TMS currently operates with Doremi and Dolby in various deployments across the globe.  The addition of these new server options further increases interoperability for exhibitors using AAM’s software products. AAM’s latest TMS and VPF management software releases will be demonstrated to cinema operators in Las Vegas at CinemaCon this week.

AAM’s Theatre Management System operates today in 11 countries across 4 continents, with further licensing deals to be announced shortly.  The software can be deployed on either Microsoft Windows or Linux and is available in many languages including: English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Norwegian and German. Arts Alliance Media’s software is used not only within AAM’s own virtual print fee funded rollouts; it is also licensed to exhibitors who are working either with other integrators or who are directly funding their own rollouts.

Through AAM's secure, web-based TMS, exhibitors can manage their library and flow of content, scheduling, automation and point of sale system integration for all supported screen servers. Moreover, different types of server can be mixed and matched, even within a single theatre.

On making the announcement, Matt Sullivan, Vice President of Technical Development commented, “We are continually expanding the capability of our software products and the addition of these new screen servers is an important milestone for us. Our ability to add support for such a wide breadth of cinema systems is testament to the flexibility and adaptability of our software.”

Fiona Deans, Chief Operating Officer added, “AAM’s strategy is to provide products and services that are fully compatible with any and all equipment manufacturers.  The TMS is a key element in the transition to digital, allowing a comprehensive and more efficient management of cinema operations. AAM truly believes in the importance of a flexible TMS system, which allows exhibitors to work with their preferred equipment. We are delighted to include Sony, Qube and GDC in our portfolio”.
