ARTS ALLIANCE MEDIA ANNOUNCES DEALS

TO SUPPLY FOUR MORE SITES WITH

CINEMA MANAGEMENT SERVICE

LONDON, 12th September 2006 - Arts Alliance Media (AAM), Europe’s leading provider of digital film distribution services, has announced two agreements to provide its cinema box-office and customer management service to four further London sites. The Renoir, Chelsea Cinema and Richmond Filmhouse (all part of the Curzon group) and the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley have all signed deals to equip their cinemas with Newman, AAM’s online cinema management solution.

Newman offers a complete solution allowing cinemas to manage everything from booking films to managing online marketing campaigns to selling tickets and concessions, all geared towards making life easier, and more profitable, for independent cinemas.

Howard Kiedaisch, CEO of Arts Alliance Media, said “It’s great that we’re adding to the growing momentum for Newman following the success seen already with City Screen and Curzon cinemas. Now we have four more sites to add to the list of cinemas which have already seen increased revenue and decreased operational costs.”

The Renoir, Chelsea Cinema and Richmond Filmhouse, three sites absorbed into the Curzon group following a deal with Artificial Eye earlier this year, bring four more screens to the existing five Curzon screens already benefiting from Newman.

Karen Marshall, MD of Curzon Cinemas, said “We have already seen the advantages of using Newman in our Soho and Mayfair locations, and look forward to having our three newest sites benefit from increased customer profitability and streamlined operations.”

Paul Homer, CEO of the Phoenix East Finchley, which has signed up for the Newman Online package, said “Newman Online means we can meet our customers’ demands for online booking and enable our box office to take a higher volume of bookings, all for no upfront charge.”

Newman provides front and back office management software, including systems for programming, customer relationship management through memberships and newsletters, and site and circuit reporting. The point of sale available with the Newman Cinema package allows tickets and concessions to be sold from the same till, reducing queuing times and staff requirements. The Newman Online package provides a customisable, automatically updated, website and a complete back-office management system allowing customers to book tickets and manage memberships online, as well as buy tickets over the phone. All Newman packages include membership management tools, and the ability to send out email newsletters to customers, as well as comprehensive reporting.

Arts Alliance Media is currently in talks with several other independent cinemas to provide Newman to their sites.
