UK's top chain trials digital exhibition
Arts Alliance to give Odeon multiplex digital makeover

LONDON — The U.K.'s leading cinema chain has teamed with the territory's biggest digital cinema org to launch a fully digital multiplex in south-east London.
All nine screens at Odeon's Surrey Quays multiplex will be given a digital makeover with Arts Alliance acting as the integrator, installer and service provider for an initial six-month trial.
"This is a great opportunity for the industry as a whole and we are thrilled to have been chosen by Odeon. This significant vote of confidence further demonstrates our standing as the most proven digital cinema provider in Europe," commented Howard Kiedaisch, CEO, Arts Alliance Media.
Odeon is launching a similar trial at its nine-screen Odeon Hatfield site with Bell Theatre Services providing the digital instal-lation and maintenance.
Arts Alliance Media is currently rolling out the U.K. Film Council's 240-screen Digital Screen Network.
