Freelance QC Operator

Arts Alliance Media is a leading digital content and distribution company. We require a freelance QC operator to help in the checking of post-encoded files for the VOD market.

 A minimum of 6 months experience of QC or encoding is a necessity, as you will be assessing and approving/rejecting the technical quality of all video and audio.

Solid video knowledge, knowledge of DCT based codec’s and digital video formats would be a great benefit. Hourly rates are very good and are dependant on experience. 

Attention to detail, good organisation, clear communication, and initiative are a pre-requisite. MS office skills and a good working knowledge of windows is essential. 

We need freelancers to have eagle eyes and golden ears at all times, if you know your macroblocks from your mosquitoing then this role could be for you.  

You will be working in a great environment with a small and friendly team. 

Although this work is initially on a short term basis [6weeks], it could lead to more freelance stuff in the near future.
